Concord, N.H. – The Granite Group has announced they are opening their 31st branch location in Newport, Vermont. This branch will be housed in a 10,000 square foot facility located at 565 Union Street. The building is the former home of Fred’s Plumbing & Heating. Construction of the branch began last month and is expected to be open for business by early July.

“This new Branch in Newport, Vermont, like other recent branches we've opened, became a reality after customers asked us to find a way to build a presence in an underserved but emerging area for business, and Newport, as well as the surrounding towns, definitely fits the bill on both counts,” said Bill Condron, The Granite Group’s president & CEO. “The build out has begun on Union Street in Newport, and we fully expect to have our doors open by the beginning of July.
