Venstar, a leading thermostat and energy management systems (EMS) manufacturer, announced its new ColorTouch programmable touch screen thermostats now with Wi-Fi inside for simply connected anytime, anywhere access and remote control. ColorTouch thermostats are now available online and throughout North America from Venstar’s exclusive network of wholesale HVAC distributors.

New ColorTouch Touch Screen Thermostats With Wi-Fi Inside

Venstar now offers three new models of its ColorTouch programmable residential thermostats, two with Wi-Fi inside. All three models have a multi-functional, simple-to-use, touch screen.  The color touch screen can be programmed to display a picture gallery of up to 100 files to be used as a slideshow.

Select ColorTouch residential (Models T7850 and T7900) and commercial thermostats (Models T8850 and T8900) comply with California Title 24’s requirements, including Equipment Fault Detection Diagnostics (FDD). Another key feature available in these thermostats is Automated Demand Response (ADR), enabling users to participate in utility-generated load shedding events, as well as the ability to support the handling of specific signals from the utility provider.

Compatible with Skyport Cloud Services and Venstar’s free Skyport app

ColorTouch thermostats are compatible with Venstar’s Skyport Cloud Services, which allow both commercial and residential users to use Venstar’s free Skyport mobile app on their Apple iOS, Android, and BlackBerry mobile devices or directly from the Web to instantly access and control multiple thermostats at numerous locations.

“From the couch or across town, Venstar’s free Skyport app allows users to control their ColorTouch thermostats with their mobile devices,” Dushane added.

Now available, ColorTouch thermostats are compatible with virtually every type of commercial heating and air conditioning system.
