Columbia Specialty celebrates opening of new San Diego location

January 3, 2015
No Comments

Long Beach, Calif. – Columbia Specialty Co., an industrial pipe, valves and fittings supplier, announced the expansion of their San Diego location into a larger, improved space.
After opening the original location in San Diego two years ago, Columbia Specialty is seeing a return on their investment with the expansion of the San Diego branch to a larger, centrally located 17,800-square-foot building. San Diego Branch Manager Tom Murphy worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the San Diego branch and to continue the expansion of Columbia Specialty in the San Diego market.

The new location features a will call counter and central location and is three times the size of the original location to better meet the needs and demands of customers in San Diego.

President Mike Taylor said, "This new larger facility is a direct response to the overwhelming support of our company from contractors and PVF customers in the San Diego market. Our Trade Street location puts us right in the middle of the action with our customers and vendors and will improve our ability to provide outstanding service. We expect to create a new will call dimension, which was not possible with our facility in El Cajon. I am very excited for the benefits this new facility will bring to the company and our valued customers."
