Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning announce acquisition

April 7, 2015

Plano, Texas - SE Holdco, LLC, the parent company of Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning, LLC, (Service Experts) one of North America’s largest AC and heating repair brands, has announced its first major acquisition of 2015, after having completed three acquisitions in 2014.

The company has purchased the assets of Levy & Son Plumbing, Inc., a 105-year-old Dallas-based HVAC and plumbing company. Scott J. Boxer, President and CEO of Service Experts, said, “This acquisition significantly expands our presence in one of the country’s fastest-growing Metropolitan areas, positioning Service Experts for robust sales growth in that region. It also greatly adds to our commitment to the plumbing services segment - as plumbing services were Levy & Son’s original offering in 1910.” He added, “Levy & Son is one of Dallas’ oldest and most respected HVAC and plumbing companies, and they are a perfect fit with the Service Experts family of service centers.” Levy & Son owner Bernard W. Levy added, “This is not a decision we made lightly, and we did considerable research and due diligence to choose exactly the right company to continue our legacy of outstanding workmanship and customer service.

We are confident we’ve chosen the right team, and we expect that our employees and customers will agree.” Levy & Son management and staff will remain on board at the company, and the company will continue operations under the name Levy & Son, a Service Experts company. Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning operates more than 95 locations serving more than 2,000 homes and businesses per day. Service Experts service centers provide AC repair, heating system maintenance, indoor air quality sales and service, HVAC system sales and installation, and HVAC maintenance for both the residential and commercial HVAC markets.
