Sid Harvey Industries Inc. is pleased to announce a leadership transition effective Oct. 1, 2026, with Sid Harvey transitioning from president to chairman of the board and Bob Moody, currently vice president of operations and marketing, assuming the role of president.

This transition represents an important milestone and reflects a commitment to leadership continuity, strategic growth and long-term success. Under Sid Harvey's leadership, the company has achieved 17 consecutive years of profitable growth, initiated significant expansion across each of its key markets, entered new markets, substantially expanded its product offering, strengthened its leadership position in the heating, air conditioning and refrigeration distribution industry, and enhanced its ability to support its customer base across the country.

As chairman of the board, Sid will work closely with the board of directors and Bob Moody to ensure leadership continuity and position Sid Harvey's for continued success. Reflecting on the transition, Sid Harvey said: “This is an exciting time for our company, and we are fortunate to have Bob take on the role of president. Bob Moody will assume the role of president following a distinguished career with Sid Harvey's, which spans multiple leadership positions and decades of industry experience. Bob began his career with Sid Harvey's in October 2001 as a branch manager in Malden, Massachusetts. Throughout his career, he has served in positions including territory manager, regional sales manager, and national director of sales and marketing. In recent years, Bob has held vice president roles with oversight of sales, marketing, inventory, distribution, vendor relations and related business functions.

Beyond his operational and commercial leadership, Bob has helped develop several of the company's top leaders, strengthening its management capabilities and preparing its leadership team for the future. As president, Bob will collaborate with the company's executive team and managers to advance its strategic objectives, strengthen operational effectiveness, support profitable growth and continue delivering value to customers throughout the country.
