Wieland Group has acquired Neotiss SAS, a provider of heat transfer solutions and leading manufacturer of high-performance smooth and finned tubes for demanding applications in the nuclear, energy, and process industries. Through the acquisition, Wieland expands its product and materials portfolio, further strengthens its engineering capabilities and enhances its international presence in strategically important markets.
Growing demand for reliable energy supply, driven in part by the rapid expansion of data centers, combined with ongoing investments in industrial infrastructure, is increasing the global need for efficient heat transfer solutions and high-performance tube systems. With the acquisition of Neotiss, Wieland is well positioned to support customers around the world even more comprehensively in these growing markets.
Neotiss is one of the world's leading specialists in welded smooth and finned tubes made from titanium, stainless steel and nickel alloys. Its products are used in highly demanding applications where maximum efficiency, corrosion resistance and operational reliability are essential. Headquartered in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France, the company operates manufacturing facilities in France, the United States and China and employs approximately 370 people.
For Wieland, the acquisition provides access to customers and applications in the nuclear industry, Neotiss' most important end market. At the same time, it strengthens the company's position in heat transfer as well as heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration applications (HVAC&R). In addition, Neotiss brings extensive expertise in processing advanced materials and in the design and engineering of high-performance tube solutions to the Wieland Group. Following the acquisition, Neotiss will become part of Wieland's Business Unit Thermal Solutions.
"With Neotiss, we are gaining a specialist whose technologies and market position are an excellent complement to our existing business," said Dr. Erwin Mayr, CEO of Wieland Group. "The acquisition broadens our access to attractive growth markets, particularly in the nuclear industry, and further strengthens our capabilities in advanced materials and heat transfer applications. It is another important step in the consistent execution of our long-term growth strategy."
Hugues de Sazilly, Managing Director of Neotiss, thanked previous owner AIAC for its support in developing the company over recent years and welcomed the opportunities created by joining Wieland. "We are excited to join the Wieland Group and begin this next chapter in Neotiss' history. Together, we can create new opportunities for our employees, expand our reach to customers worldwide, and build on the strong foundation Neotiss has established over the past 50 years."
With this acquisition, Wieland further strengthens its position as a global provider of high-performance solutions for heat transfer and industrial applications while expanding its presence in technologically demanding markets.
The transaction was completed on Oct. 1, 2026.
