The Winsupply Family of Companies has welcomed a new Local Company with the opening of Northern Colorado Winwater.

Northern Colorado Winwater opened its doors in July at 4000 Patton Ave. in Loveland, Colorado, and features a 7,200-square-foot facility, including an office, warehouse, and fenced yard.

Led by President/Owner Matt Stute, the Northern Colorado Winwater team — Ben Dinkel, Corey Lopez, Andrew Dimmitt, and Peter Tinnell — serves the waterworks industry in the Northern Colorado and Wyoming regions with products and solutions for water, wastewater, storm drainage, and utility infrastructure projects.

“I've always enjoyed relationships and helping solve real problems,” Stute said. “Success comes from earning trust, being dependable, and providing great service every day.”

Stute’s career with Winsupply began in 2021 at Denver Winwater, under President Steve Worthing, shortly after graduating from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Starting as a warehouse and delivery driver, he worked his way up through outside sales before raising his hand to become a Local Company President.

Thanks to the help of Worthing, and Winsupply’s unique business model and Spirit of Opportunity — the chance to risk your own money, gain equity, and run your own wholesaling company to pursue the American Dream with help from Winsupply, Stute was able to open his own Local Company.

“The Spirit of Opportunity allows us to stay entrepreneurial while providing customers with the ease of local service and decision-making, but also the strength and reliability of one of the nation's largest wholesale distribution companies,” Stute said.

Stute said it’s been a lot of fun building his own business from the ground up. From designing the warehouse to developing inventory and building a team, everything he does is to create a profitable business that customers enjoy working with.

“We want customers to know they can count on us for products, answers, or support,” Stute said. “Our goal is to build long-term relationships, not just process orders.”

Northern Colorado Winwater will support the region's growing number of residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects defining the market.

“We're excited to be part of that growth and support the contractors and municipalities in any way we can by helping build the infrastructure,” Stute said.

Northern Colorado Winwater is planning a grand opening event in the future, and is hiring for more positions.

Worthing said when Stute joined Denver Winwater in 2021 as his fifth employee, his impact on the company was almost immediate. He began with bin locating in the warehouse, installing racking, and establishing new procedures.

“Quickly, he made his way to the counter where he established a great reputation for solving problems for customers,” Worthing said. “Matt is the type of guy that shows up early and leaves late. He is a truly dedicated entrepreneur with incredible drive. I knew early on that Matt would make a great President.”

Stute went through Winsupply’s president training programs and worked with Worthing to identify Northern Colorado as an ideal place to open a new Winwater.

Worthing has big plans for the Denver market.

“My plan is to identify individuals that have a drive and want to start their own company,” Worthing said. “There are too many large metropolitan areas that do not have a Winwater.”
