Appropriate Designs HEAT LOAD PRO 2.0 rapidly estimates the heating load of residential and light commercial buildings. Each room of the building can be quickly defined and configured. All room loads as well as the total heating load of building is updated and displayed whenever any input is changed. Users can quickly configure construction assemblies for walls, ceilings, floors, windows and doors based on extensive selections for building materials. The R-value of each construction assembly is determined and automatically passed into the calculations. Users can also choose to enter their own R-values for any of these assemblies. The software also provides tools for rapidly calculating areas of simple as well as complex shapes based on minimal dimensions.
