The Winsupply Family of Companies has welcomed a new Local Company with the opening of Winsupply Kernersville N.C.
Led by President Chris Jones, the team — including Neil Jackson, Dalton Walker, and Bobby Jones — is dedicated to meeting the community's HVAC needs and introducing a competitive new option to the local market.
Winsupply Kernersville N.C. opened its doors on April 6, 2026. Located on the outer edge of Kernersville at 1175A South Park Drive, the Local Company includes a 10,000-square-foot storefront that is ready to serve customers.
Jones said no matter who steps through the door, they are treated with respect and dignity because they are like family.
"We are excited to bring our talents and knowledge to the market to help our customers succeed," Jones said.
Kernersville has a strong list of construction and subdivision projects making it an excellent location to have a Winsupply Local Company.
By opening a Local Company in Kernersville, Winsupply expands its reach in the Mount Airy, Lexington, and Triad markets, which encompass the cities of Greensboro, Winston Salem, and High Point.
Jones previously worked for outside HVAC distributors as a delivery driver, warehouse manager, counter sales, branch manager, and operations manager. Unhappy with his previous job, Jones decided to join Winsupply at the Winston Salem Noland company in August 2025 after talking to Manager Jeff Watkins.
"I thought I was just going to talk about a counter job, but it turned out so differently," Jones said. "Instead, he told me about the entrepreneur experience through Winsupply."
After his talk with Watkins, he discussed with his co-worker — now Winsupply Kernersville NC Sales Manager Neil Jackson — about the idea of starting their own business since they both had 25 years of HVAC industry experience. Following that discussion, they decided to pursue this idea.
Winsupply Area Leader Rob McCullough said he spoke with Chris about the company's business model for about a year.
"He had many questions about our model, but the one constant was his desire to be the President of his own location," McCullough said. "He had the grit and grind to push through and embrace the Spirit of Opportunity."
McCullough said when he's out recruiting and looking for future entrepreneurs to run Local Companies, he talks about the unique business model and supportive services at Winsupply.
"It always comes down to our culture and autonomy; the local decision making," McCullough said.
Winsupply Local Companies exceeded $8.4 billion in annual sales for 2026.
This is Winsupply's third new Local Company in North Carolina since the beginning of the year. The other two locations are Winsupply of North Wilmington, operated by President Conner Leahr, and Winsupply Clayton N.C., run by President Brendan Recchia.
Winsupply Kernersville N.C. is planning a grand opening event for this fall.
