U.S. Boiler Company introduces the OneTouch control system. Currently standard on the ALTA condensing boiler and combi boiler line, OneTouch dramatically expedites startup, reduces maintenance, and increases system reliability. When an ALTA boiler is powered up, OneTouch provides automatic combustion setup and eliminates the need for manual throttle and offset adjustments. This provides commissioning times of five minutes or less. OneTouch then continues to monitor combustion after setup to adjust for alterations in fuel quality, combustion air temperature, and changes throughout the heating system. An outdoor reset sensor is not required. Modulation is automatically adjusted to meet heating requirements without harmful short-cycling.
