Refrigeration Technologies has announced the launch of Viper EZDose, a gravity-fed pan and drain line maintenance system designed to help HVAC contractors prevent condensate drain clogs before they become water damage, odor complaints and costly callbacks. Clogged condensate drain lines account for up to 90% of water-related AC service calls, according to HVAC industry data; and most of them are preventable. A typical residential HVAC system can pull up to 20 gallons of water per day from the air. For contractors operating preventative maintenance agreements, EZDose provides a repeatable, visible drain treatment process that reinforces service value and helps eliminate the callbacks that quietly erode profitability.
