Marley Engineered Products, LLC., a leader in innovative electric heating solutions, has named Goodyear HVAC Sales as the recipient of the 2026 Jim Herring Memorial Silver Fox Award. The award recognizes Goodyear HVAC Sales for its work on Landmark Center Phase 3, a prominent office and laboratory building in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood.

The annual award, named in honor of Marley colleague Jim Herring, recognizes a manufacturer’s representative whose project demonstrates ingenuity, technical collaboration, and customer-focused solution design, qualities embodied by Jim Herring, for whom the Silver Fox Award is named.

Goodyear HVAC Sales was selected for this year’s honor for helping deliver a customized QMark electric heating solution for Landmark Center Phase 3. As a trusted brand within the Marley Engineered Products portfolio, QMark provided the flexibility and performance needed for the project’s exterior patio and terrace spaces while preserving the building’s clean architectural profile. After initial equipment plans revealed aesthetic and performance challenges, Goodyear HVAC Sales worked closely with Marley, the project team, and key stakeholders to develop a recessed infrared heating approach that met the owner’s design and performance expectations.

“The Silver Fox Award celebrates the kind of problem-solving and partnership that Jim Herring brought to every project,” said Sean Pesce, Senior National Sales Manager at Marley Engineered Products. “Goodyear HVAC Sales exemplified that spirit by helping transform a complex field challenge into a highly-tailored solution that supported the project’s design intent, installation schedule, and long-term occupant comfort.”

The Landmark Center Phase 3 project featured QMark recessed infrared heaters, wall heaters, cab heaters, unit heaters, and custom SCR control panels. The solution included 146 recessed infrared heaters and 33 Thermazone phase-angle SSR control panels, supporting modulating heat output and improved user control. The project was unique in that it required the QMark team to rapidly adjust the existing infrared heater units into a recessed configuration that could integrate cleanly into the building’s soffit and patio areas.

Goodyear HVAC Sales was recognized during Marley’s annual National Sales Meeting in Fort Worth, Texas.
