Aries Industries announced that it has been awarded a new cooperative purchasing contract with Sourcewell, making it easier for municipalities and utilities to procure sewer inspection and rehabilitation equipment.

Through the competitively awarded contract, government agencies can purchase Aries equipment more efficiently while remaining compliant with procurement requirements. Municipalities can register as participating Sourcewell agencies and take advantage of the cooperative purchasing power of more than 50,000 government, education and nonprofit organizations.

The contract simplifies the purchasing process for municipalities by eliminating many of the administrative steps typically required during procurement. Participating agencies benefit from a streamlined bidding process, faster procurement timelines, reduced administrative workload and lower equipment costs.

To receive the Sourcewell contract, Aries Industries completed a rigorous request for proposal (RFP) process designed to meet or exceed local procurement requirements. Because the contract satisfies these standards, participating agencies can purchase equipment through Sourcewell without conducting their own RFP process, saving both time and money.
