Bri-Steel Manufacturing, North America’s leading producer of large diameter seamless steel pipe, has successfully produced the first 30-inch STD (standard wall) carbon seamless pipe in U.S. history. The milestone pipe is now available for distribution through Texas Pipe & Supply, the USA’s largest and most respected distributor of carbon and stainless steel pipe. Large-diameter seamless products of this size have historically been imported. Now, American companies can count on Bri-Steel and Texas Pipe & Supply to deliver domestic large-diameter pipe up to 30 inches.

Manufactured using Bri-Steel’s advanced Thermal Pipe Expansion (TPE) process at its Enid, Oklahoma facility, the achievement marks a major advancement in domestic seamless pipe capability. Bri-Steel’s U.S. production strengthens supply chain security, shortens lead times, and supports compliance with ASTM, ASME, and API requirements.

The new product is currently on display at the Texas Pipe & Supply headquarters in Houston, Texas. The Houston display gives industry professionals and customers the opportunity to view the pipe’s engineering quality firsthand.
