Rinnai America Corporation, a leading North American manufacturer of innovative, energy‑efficient tankless water heaters, today announced its REHP Series Electric Heat Pump Water Heater has been honored with a 2026 Green GOOD DESIGN Award. The award is presented by The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and recognizes the world’s most important examples of sustainable design.

Selected from hundreds of submissions spanning more than 30 countries, the REHP Series was recognized for advancing energy-efficient, environmentally responsible product design. The Green GOOD DESIGN program, now in its 18th year, builds on the original GOOD DESIGN Awards founded in 1950 by Eero Saarinen and Charles and Ray Eames and remains one of the most respected honors in global design.

Rinnai’s REHP Series Electric Heat Pump Water Heater reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to high-efficiency solutions that reduce environmental impact while delivering dependable home comfort. By leveraging advanced heat pump technology, the REHP Series helps homeowners significantly lower energy consumption and carbon emissions compared to traditional electric water heaters, without sacrificing performance.

“We are proud to see the REHP Series recognized on a global stage,” said Frank Windsor, president of Rinnai America Corporation. “This award reflects our commitment to sustainable innovation and to Creating a Healthier Way of Living. That includes continued investment in technologies built for today’s evolving energy landscape, delivering next generation home comfort solutions with the precision engineering and proven reliability that define Rinnai.”
