Rinnai America Corporation, a leading North American manufacturer of innovative, energy‑efficient tankless water heaters, has announced the appointment of Joseph (Joe) Gresham as vice president of innovation and a new member of the company’s executive leadership team.

In this role, Gresham will lead Rinnai America's Innovation organization, providing strategic direction for innovation, product strategy, and technology advancement across North America. His leadership will strengthen Rinnai’s long‑term innovation roadmap, elevate product quality, and drive competitive advantage as the company continues its strong growth trajectory.

Gresham is a seasoned global product development executive with experience across HVAC, residential appliances, drinking water systems, and food service equipment. He has held leadership roles at Middleby Corporation, Elkay (now Zurn Elkay Water Solutions), Whirlpool, and Ingersoll Rand (now Trane Technologies), where he consistently delivered innovation, strengthened product strategies, improved quality, and built high‑performing global teams that helped drive growth and improve competitive position.

Gresham holds a Master of Business Administration from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Auburn University. He also holds a certification in systems engineering and architecture from MIT and Design for Six Sigma Black Belt.

Outside of work, Gresham enjoys tailgating, camping, woodworking and metalworking, home projects, and a variety of sports. He and his wife, Corin, have three daughters — two of whom have started their careers, while the youngest is studying industrial design at Iowa State University. Joe and Corin, both Georgia natives, were married in Peachtree City, Georgia.
