Miura America Co. Ltd. was honored with the 2026 Company Community Service Award by TRSA on February 18 during an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C.
TRSA, the leading association representing the $50 billion linen, uniform and facility services industry, presented the award in recognition of Miura’s sustained commitment to community engagement through its annual First Responders Appreciation Day.
Now entering its fourth year, the initiative has expanded annually in both geographic reach and participation. In 2025, Miura invited precincts across five counties and welcomed more than 200 first responders and family members for a full day of meals, activities, prize giveaways and community recognition. The event is supported by sponsors from the local community and industry partners nationwide.
“We envisioned this event three years ago, and the response from our community, our U.S. and state government partners, and our local suppliers and businesses has exceeded every expectation,” said Paul O’Donnell, president, Miura America Co. Ltd. “Over the last three years, the event has truly grown. To see our team’s engagement and the response from first responders and their families as we celebrate their service and sacrifice has been incredibly rewarding.”
Miura expressed appreciation to TRSA for recognizing the company’s ongoing community service efforts.
“Our goal is to expand this initiative into every community where our employees live and work,” said Brittany Jordan, marketing manager, Miura America Co. Ltd. “As Miura continues to grow, we believe our community impact should grow alongside it, supporting the first responders who serve those communities every day.”
Miura will host its 4th Annual First Responders Appreciation Day on September 19, 2026, with plans to expand participation to additional precincts serving the communities where Miura employees reside.
Recognition from TRSA reflects Miura’s broader commitment to responsible corporate citizenship alongside its focus on delivering high-efficiency modular steam systems across industrial, healthcare and commercial markets.
