United Building Solutions (UBS), a leading provider HVAC services across the United States, today announced that it has acquired DFW Mechanical Group (DFW), a full-service commercial and industrial mechanical contractor serving clients across Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Florida.

Headquartered in Wylie, Texas, DFW delivers comprehensive commercial HVAC solutions, offering a full range of services including plumbing, heating, and piping. The company will operate as a UBS division under the continued leadership of President Brett Thomas, a seasoned executive with more than three decades of industry experience.

This is UBS’ second add-on transaction following investment into the company by AE Industrial Partners in February 2025, and its establishment as a national commercial HVAC services platform with the concurrent acquisition of North Florida-based HVAC solutions business Total Comfort Solutions. With the acquisition of DFW, UBS’ footprint now extends across the Southeast and South-Central United States in addition to its existing Northeastern United States coverage.
