Remembering Ron Solloway

May 31,1942 to October 21, 2025

Ron began his career in the plumbing industry in 1961. His journey began when his mother introduced him to a friend connected to Familian Pipe & Supply, a major West Coast plumbing/HVAC distributor, which later became part of the world’s largest distributor.

At age 19, Ron began work in the warehouse, and within a year was promoted to Warehouse Manager. He soon advanced to Branch Manager, a role he proudly held until 1990, when his dedication and leadership led to a promotion to corporate Vice President of Purchasing.

In 1996, Ron accepted an opportunity to become a partner at Express Pipe & Supply, now known as Reece, where he was recognized for his high character, work ethic and passion for the industry. He continued to work until the end of his life.

Through his work, Ron traveled and experienced the world, including a memorable cruise to Athens, Greece and stays in beautiful villas in Mexico. Beyond his professional life, Ron embraced many passions. He loved spending time with his family and friends.   He  greatly admired Muhammad Ali, earned a black belt in karate, loved bicycling, and enjoyed attending L.A. Dodgers baseball games.

Forever remembered, Ron leaves behind his former wife, Jean; his children, Sharon and Bob; his daughter-in-law, Ali; and his beloved grandson, Ryan. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
