Designed for municipal, industrial, and wastewater applications, this advanced swing check valve meets ANSI/AWWA Standard C508 full waterway design requirements. Engineered for durability and reliability, the ductile iron body valve features a rapid-closure stainless-steel spring that minimizes flapper disc hinge closing time — preventing slamming during rapid flow reversals and water hammer. Its unique spring design is angled at a 45-degree seating surface, minimizing disc travel. A raised rib seal on the molded Buna-N flapper disc ensures bubble-tight sealing under low pressure, making it suitable for vacuum service.
