For the third year in a row, Craig Childress has claimed the professional division title at the 2025 ServiceTitan HVAC National Championships, powered by Trane and American Standard Heating and Air Conditioning. The competition recognizes the contributions and skills of HVAC technicians nationwide.
The Massachusetts-based professional rose above nine other competitors in a series of head-to-head, skill-testing challenges, earning a $40,000 prize. Participants demonstrated their expertise through diagnostic checks and installation of Trane residential equipment in an intense, fast-paced environment, showcasing precision, service excellence, and in-depth HVAC knowledge.
Finishing as runner-up in the professional division, Alex Ivey of Ocean Springs, MS, received $15,000, while third-place winner Scott Savidge of Pavilion, New York, earned $10,000.
In the apprentice division, Braden Reeser of North Platte, Nebraska, earned first place and a $20,000 prize after competing against nine other apprentices. Kirby Hess of Flora, Inidana, placed second with $10,000, followed by Nathaniel Magner of Boston, Virgina, who secured third place with $5,000.
The 2025 ServiceTitan HVAC National Championships took place on Oct. 10 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. Trane by Trane Technologies and American Standard Heating and Air Conditioning have sponsored the event for four consecutive years, celebrating the next generation of HVAC talent and recognizing rising stars in the industry.
