Koldwave, a division of Mestek Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Cyrus Gardner as national sales manager. Gardner succeeds Ted Altmire, who is retiring after over a decade of dedicated service to the company.

Gardner brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Koldwave, with a career spanning more than two decades in the HVAC industry. His journey began in the U.S. Navy as an electronics technician on a submarine, providing him with a strong technical foundation. Following his service, he worked as a service technician for Siemens in Western New York, and later for several contractors in South Florida.

He further developed his career working for HVAC Rep Co., where he represented Mestek’s Koldwave and SpacePak products. Most recently, Gardner served as National Sales Manager for Sanhua, covering North America.

Outside of his professional career, Gardner is actively involved in aviation. He volunteers as an Air Operations Director for the Sun ’n Fun Aerospace Expo, one of the largest air shows in the United States. He resides in East Tennessee with his wife and four children, ages 3 to 12.
