SJE’s journey began when Steve Johnston had a bold vision to help his neighbor solve a septic holding tank issue. The first product, the Tank Alert Alarm, helped to ensure septic tanks did not overflow. This product laid the foundation for decades of trusted performance and continuous growth.

Today, SJE engineers and manufactures high-quality products and control solutions that serve customers in the water, wastewater, energy, and industrial OEM markets. The SJE products and solutions have an impact on the environment, improve lives, and protect local communities.
