Valve World Americas 2025 Expo & Conference: Bigger, Bolder, and Better Than Ever!

Valve World Americas 2025 Expo & Conference-Bigger, Bolder, and Better Than Ever!.jpg

The 2025 Valve World Americas Expo & Conference, organized by KCI World and Messe Düsseldorf North America, took place June 4 and 5 at the George R. Brown Convention Center was a vibrant center for the international flow control community. With a high attendance and a dynamic mix of speakers, panels and exhibitors, the event once again proved to be North America’s premier platform dedicated exclusively to valves and industrial valve systems.

Building on the solid foundation of the 2023 edition, this year’s event delivered even more value for professionals across the industry – from manufacturers and distributors to end users and subject matter experts.

Sponsored by industry leaders such as Bonney Forge, Bray, DHV, ISV, MRC Global, Quadax, SLB, VanAire, Velan, and Warren Valve, the 8th edition brought together 280 exhibiting companies and welcomed over 4,400 attendees for two days of technical knowledge-sharing, networking, and innovation.

Kicking Off with Hands-On Learning

On June 3, the event began with two specialized courses: Industrial Valve Basics and the Industrial Valves Master Class. Tailored to different experience levels, these courses were led by respected experts in the field and offered participants a strong technical foundation ahead of the main conference.

Conference Highlights

Day 1

Chairman Ayman Cheta (Shell) opened the conference in the newly introduced Keynote Theater, located directly on the expo floor. He was followed by:

  • Josmar Cristello (Teadit) with insights into sealing technology
  • Jack McCarthy (MRC Global) addressing trade policy and global supply chain dynamics

Two expert panels followed:

  • Standardization, chaired by Glen Beal (MRC Global), with panelists from ExxonMobil, BP, ConocoPhillips, Shell, and more.
  • Decarbonization, chaired by Trace Scrivner (ExxonMobil), featuring valuable discussion on industry approaches to lowering emissions.

Both sessions encouraged audience engagement and sparked meaningful conversations between attendees and panelists.

Day 2

Day two opened with Gobind Khiani, Chairman of Valve World Calgary 2026, discussing supply chain challenges. Keynote speakers included:

  • Naomi Jabbari (S&B Engineers & Constructors) on the US Energy Outlook 2025
  • Brindesh Dhruva (Bray International) on mentorship and passing knowledge to the next generation.

Workshops throughout the day covered topics such as valve design, hydrogen, emissions standards, new technologies, and materials – offering attendees a wide range of technical content tailored to current industry needs.

Expo Floor & Networking

Beyond the conference sessions, the expo floor was buzzing with activity. Attendees explored new technologies from hundreds of exhibitors, visited the Speakers’ Corner for curated presentations, and even took a break at the Golf Simulator. Informal networking spaces allowed for relaxed conversation and business development throughout the event.

The atmosphere was one of collaboration and curiosity – with many attendees commenting on the quality of conversations, the variety of topics covered, and the welcoming environment.

Looking Ahead

This year’s program also provided ample opportunities for suppliers and distributors to meet, hold company events, and explore future collaborations – all within thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces.

With planning already underway for the next edition, Valve World Americas is pleased to announce the return of the Expo & Conference to Houston on June 23-24, 2027.

In the meantime, we invite you to join us at our upcoming internationals events:

  • Valve World Southeast Asia Expo & Conference, Singapore – September 24-25, 2025
