Fortiline Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reece Inc. has announced the acquisition of wholesaler Belair Road Supply Co. Inc. (BRS), effective March 7. The acquisition expands Fortiline’s reach into the Northeastern Region of the United States and grows the Fortiline branch network to nearly 80 locations across 16 states.
Belair Road Supply provides water, sewer, storm, masonry products, hardscapes, tools and supplies to customers in Maryland and Delaware. Its five locations will be rebranded Fortiline Waterworks.
Fortiline has been Reece USA’s waterworks supplier since 2018. Like Belair Road Supply, Fortiline is part of a company in Reece USA that has more than 100 years of experience supporting the needs of those working in the trades.
“Belair Road Supply started as a small hardware store more than 100 years ago, and now we are a leading distributor of waterworks, masonry, and hardscapes in Maryland and Delaware,” said Stephanie Germano, President, Belair Road Supply. “This acquisition will bring together some of the best and brightest in the industry, and I’m excited about this next chapter for our customers and employees.”
“Our Fortiline team has aggressive growth goals across the United States, including here in the Northeast, and this acquisition of Belair Road Supply underscores our commitment to that growth plan,” said Andrew Pacifico, Fortiline president. “In the first six months of the fiscal year, Fortiline has opened five new locations, with plans for more to come.
“In just these past six months, we’ve expanded our operations into Colorado; Nevada; Savannah, Georgia, and Northern Arizona and we’re excited to continue this expansion into Maryland and Delaware. We have an exceptional team in place that provides unmatched service in our industry, and we look forward to providing Belair Road Supply customers with the same customized service that our existing Fortiline customers have come to expect.”
