Hayner/Swanson Inc. (HSI), a New Hampshire-based civil engineering and land surveying firm, has joined IMEG. The merger helps position both firms for continued growth in the northeastern U.S.

HSI has served clients since 1972 in multiple market sectors including municipal, residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and recreation.

"We are extremely pleased to have the talented and experienced staff of HSI join our firm,” said IMEG President/CEO Paul VanDuyne. “By blending IMEG’s national, full-service engineering portfolio with HSI’s local civil, survey, and construction support services, we create a strong synergy for future growth in the Northeast.”

HSI President James Petropulos, PE, said he and his team are excited to become part of IMEG and help drive continued growth in the region. “This provides a great opportunity for all our staff and allows us to provide a full house of engineering services to our valued clients,” he said. “The merger is also a great match of priorities, as our reputation for dependability, technical expertise, and consistently high-quality work aligns with IMEG’s innovative, client-centric, outcome-based approach.”

The team will continue to operate from their existing locations in Nashua, NH, and Burlington, MA, doing business as HSI, now IMEG. John Vancor, PE, will lead regional team operations.
