Ashland City,  Tenn. – State Water Heaters will sponsor professional fisherman Scott Ashmore for the 2015 season.

Ashmore, the newest addition to the State Water Heaters sports team, is a Bassmaster Elite Series contender and 2014 Major League Fishing Selects Survival Round winner.

“It’s exciting to have a partner like State Water Heaters, a brand that stands for durability and toughness,” Ashmore said. “Those are qualities I strive for every day whether I’m trying to finish strong at a tournament or doing a project around the house.”

This is the first year that the Ashland City-based company has sponsored a professional fisherman, according to Jeff Storie, Director of Marketing for State Water Heaters.

“A world-class angler like Scott Ashmore inside the world of competitive fishing is a natural draw for the wholesalers, contractors and builders who partner with State Water Heaters,” Storie said. “We look forward to building a great relationship with Scott and raising awareness about State’s dependable products.”
