Johnson Controls has announced the launch of the next-generation YORK YMAE Air-to-Water Inverter Scroll Modular Heat Pump — a high-efficiency air-to-water heat pump for the North American market. The YORK YMAE is a sustainable, future-ready solution for offices and schools that want to minimize their environmental impact and electrify their heating and cooling. The YORK YMAE uses R-454B, a refrigerant that cuts climate impact by nearly 80% compared with R-410A refrigerant. The YMAE will be offered in single and packaged-module configuration.
