A new, portable toolkit from Harris Products Group makes it easier for HVAC service technicians to repair leaks in aluminum and copper coils in the field. The six-piece brazing repair kit features Harris Stay-Silv 15, the industry's most widely used brazing alloy for copper HVAC brazing and repairs. The kit also includes ALUXCOR, an alloy designed specifically for aluminum brazing and repairs. Included in the handy kit are two wire brushes, one for aluminum repair preparation, and the other for copper. The brushes are color coded to match the caps on the corresponding alloy tubes so techs can easily select the proper brush and alloy. All items are stored in a canvas bag with a compartment for each item.
