SANCO₂ Heat Pump Hot Water Heater

Sanden is launching the next generation of its SANCO₂ Heat Pump Hot Water Heater into the North American market in the first quarter of 2017 and features the new product at the 2017 AHR Expo at Booth N9255.

The G3 SANCO₂ product features the highest Energy Factor (EF) and First Hour rating of any heat pump water heater currently available in North America.

This heat pump water heater, is unique as the heat pump and tank are separated with the heat pump able to be located outside the building. The outdoor unit is a 4.5kw capacity air-source heat pump that utilizes a R744 (CO₂) refrigerant-to-water heat exchanger producing hot water up to 175 degree F, which is then pumped to a various capacities of stainless steel storage tank for use in the home or business

The heat pump is designed and rated for full capacity at ambient temperatures below 0 degrees F, and can operate down to -20 degree F.
