The Commonwealth Group Cancels 2021 Spring Conference

The Commonwealth Group has announced the cancellation of its 2021 Spring Conference, originally scheduled for March 22-26, 2021, in San Antonio. Senior Vice President Maureen K. Cosyns, CMP, sent the following statement to members and vendors regarding the cancellation:

"We recently sent a survey asking for your input regarding the 2021 TCG Spring Conference currently scheduled for March 22-26, 2021, in San Antonio.

"We received an overwhelming number of 'no' responses from our members and vendors, citing they did not feel comfortable enough at this time to commit to attending. Many of our 'yes' responses came with stipulations, such as it would depend on whether or not their company-wide travel bans were lifted by March, a vaccine would have to be available, masks would have to be optional and social distancing would not be required.

"The safety of our attendees is paramount, and providing our members and vendors with a successful Spring Conference is extremely important to us. After careful consideration, and using the survey results as a guide, we regret to inform you that The Commonwealth Group Board of Directors has unanimously agreed to cancel the 2021 Spring Conference.

"We appreciate your continued support and look forward to the time when we can all be together again.

"In the meantime, please stay safe, stay well and let us know if there is anything we can do to assist you in any way."
