Sterling XF/XC Convertible Venting Tubular Unit Heaters

August 4, 2020
Sterling XF/XC Convertible Venting Tubular Unit Heaters

Sterling HVAC Products is changing the game for both contractors and distributors with the new XF/XC convertible venting tubular unit heaters that can be used for both standard or separated combustion applications right out of the box. The new XF (propeller fan) and XC (blower fan) unit heaters enable distributors to stock one unit for both standard or separated combustion applications, reducing both shelf space and SKU numbers. Contractors gain the convenience of buying off-the-shelf the products to fit both types of applications without additional kits or longer lead times.

Sterling’s XF/XC units feature a combustion air inlet collar located on the rear cover panel of each unit that is left open in a standard combustion venting configuration. When separated combustion is required, combustion air piping is simply connected to the inlet collars to pull in clean outside air to protect the burners, ignitor and flue system from dusty, dirty, or mildly corrosive space conditions.
