AHR Expo Show Management Shares Update on 2021 Event

AHR Expo Show Management has shared a statement and details regarding the 2021 event. The 73rd International AHR Expo will be held at McCormick Place in Chicago from Jan. 25–27, 2021.

"We are eight months away from our event in Chicago. With time to plan, learn and adapt, AHR Expo Show Management, our industry partners, endorsing organizations and industry colleagues are committed to hosting a safe event experience in January 2021," said AHR Expo Show Management.

"With that in mind, we are communicating with Chicago city officials, our vendors and industry partners to follow necessary guidelines. We will update any new information on our website as we know it.

"The AHR Expo plays an essential role in bringing together the HVACR industry to experience products as they launch, offer demos for deeper understanding and networking opportunities for growth in both business and knowledge. We’re looking forward to seeing you in Chicago as we regain our momentum. Until then, we wish you continued business success in these challenging times."

The show hosted its first gathering in 1930, with the intent to bring together HVACR professionals from all sectors of the industry. Serving commercial, industrial, residential, institutional and technology markets, the show has grown to represent the industry’s most cumulative gathering of all professionals and markets under one roof. Each year, manufacturers come together to exhibit their systems, equipment, and components with air-conditioning, heating, plumbing, ventilation, and refrigeration applications. Professionals such as contractors, engineers, OEMs, distributors and other industry roles attend the show in search of new and innovative products and services that enhance the way they do business, as well as networking opportunities that are unmatched in the industry.

Attendees can expect new opportunities at the 2021 AHR Expo, including the following:

  • AHR Expo Podcast Pavilions
    • After a successful 2020 debut, the AHR Expo will again host some of the industry’s top podcasters in three Podcast Pavilions, including The HVAC Jerks, HVAC School with Bryan Orr, Mike Mayberry HVAC Refer Guy, ToolPros with Brent Ridley, HVAC Uncensored with Gil Cavey, HVAC 360 with Matt Nelson, Service Business Mastery with Tersh Blissett and others
  • Heavily attended by popular industry personalities
    • Instagram and other social channel community members will be onsite for meet-and-greet opportunities
  • Trend Talks with AHR Expo Council Members
    • Aiming to address some of the biggest trends affecting the HVACR Industry, Council Members will lead discussions on opportunities and potential impacts

Advance registration opens in the summer of 2020 and is free to qualified professionals and students ages 18 and up. An online registration fee of $30 will apply after the January 2021 cut-off date; as well as to attendees who register onsite. On show days, 16- and 17- year-old students accompanied by a supervising adult will be allowed admission to the Show floor.
