Merfish United has announced that it will be begin serving all Merfish Pipe & Supply and United Pipe & Steel customers under their new name beginning March 1. Merfish United logos have already started to appear in a few places, and customers will soon start to see the new branding on everything from invoices to the company's website, as well as adorning its trucks and facilities. The evolution of the new company name and logo is a culmination of more than a year of hard work behind the scenes, where 2019’s merger set in motion the coming together of two companies with a combined 140-plus year heritage.
Along with the new look of the company, wholesale suppliers serving multiple segments will have access to Merfish United’s massive, countrywide inventory, which has been strategically rebalanced across its 14 distribution centers. Its consolidated stock has a broad range of domestic steel pipe, globally sourced steel pipe, copper tube, copper coils and a wide variety of PVC Pipe, along with electrical products like metal conduit, PVC conduit, strut and threaded rod.
Access to Merfish United’s inventory comes with the reach and distribution power only seen from the largest master distributor of pipe products. With its own fleet of 65-plus trucks across the United States, wholesalers will enjoy deliveries on weekly Milk-Run and OTR schedules. The company also offers low minimums for FFA, in addition to other benefits like the ability to break bundles and mix and match products.
