For more than 50 years, Milwaukee Valve Co. has been manufacturing valves for use on a wide variety of U.S. Navy warships, including all 11 of the fleet carriers currently in service. November is National U.S. Navy Aircraft Carrier Month, honoring the accomplishments and contributions of U.S. Navy aircraft carriers, as well as the men and women who serve aboard them.

Milwaukee Valve has been an important supplier of valves to the U.S. Navy. These valves, by the thousands, are on every U.S. aircraft carrier, battleship, submarine, frigate and support ship in service today. Milwaukee Valve operates a state-of-the-art bronze foundry and manufacturing operation in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin. The foundry features the most advanced technology available, which is required to pour five different bronze alloys and Monel. The metallurgical skills necessary for these various materials are unique to Milwaukee Valve, affording U.S. Navy and commercial and industrial customers with expertise and experience not readily available elsewhere.

The company invites all to join in celebrating the values, accomplishments, and contributions of U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers this month. More information on products from Milwaukee Valve's Marine Division is available at www.milwaukeevalve.com/index.php/marine-products.
