Registration for NAHB International Builders' Show Opens Sept. 1

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) has officially opened online registration for the 2021 NAHB International Builders' Show (IBS), a premier event of the residential construction industry.

IBS will move back to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Feb. 9-11, where it will again co-locate with the National Kitchen & Bath Association's (NKBA) Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) for the 8th annual Design & Construction Week (DCW). The two shows are expected to host more than 1,500 exhibiting brands spanning over 700,000 net square feet of exhibit space, for the leading event of the residential design and construction industry.

"The health and safety of our community remains the top priority as NAHB prepares for the in-person 2021 International Builders' Show," said Chuck Fowke, chairman of NAHB and a custom home builder from Tampa, Florida. "While this year's show will no doubt look a bit different, we are excited to bring our attendees the same high-level experience they have come to expect, with leading edge education sessions, numerous networking opportunities, and an exhibit hall full of innovative products all in one place."

This once-a-year event is the headquarters for new product launches, construction demos, industry thought leader sessions, workshops, panel discussions and more. IBS features the leading manufacturers and suppliers showcasing industry solutions with hundreds of new products and services launched at IBS each year.

Attendees with an education + expo pass registration will have access to more than 90 education sessions led by renowned experts on a wide range of industry topics. Those looking for more in-depth sessions on specific industry topics can participate in the Master Sessions, which will be held on Monday, Feb. 8, as part of the pre-show education and will be open to all registered show attendees for an additional fee. In addition, NAHB Education courses will be held Saturday, Feb. 6 through Monday, Feb. 8.

IBS also offers education opportunities on the show floor. The High Performance Building Zone will feature real-world construction demonstrations on the latest innovative techniques for improving efficiency in all areas of the home, the IBS Jobsite Safety Zone will showcase cutting-edge workplace safety solutions and attendees can see the latest innovations in home technology at the Home Technology Solutions Pavilion.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour NAHB's official IBS show homes, The New American Home (TNAH) and The New American Remodel (TNAR). The homes are designed to showcase innovative building technologies, emerging design trends and the latest building products. The showcase products in the homes are provided by members of the NAHB Leading Suppliers Council, and Professional Builder and Professional Remodeler magazines will once again serve as the media sponsors of the 2021 show homes.

During September, IBS registrants can take advantage of several registration discounts. NAHB members can receive a free expo pass or a $100 discount off an education + expo pass registration if they register this month. For a full list of offerings, visit www.BuildersShow.com/fees.

The NAHB International Builders' Show is not open to the general public. Building industry professionals and their affiliates are invited to register by visiting the show's website at www.BuildersShow.com.

As the trade show industry continues to evolve in response to the rapid changes of the COVID-19 pandemic, NAHB is working closely with Orlando authorities to create a safe environment for all attendees. The situation is being monitored daily and in consultation with health experts. The 2021 Builders' Show will apply guidelines and standards set-forth by the CDC and federal, state and local government agencies. NAHB will work to implement important health and safety protocols and ensure industry best practices in and around IBS are followed. The latest health and safety resources can be found at www.buildersshow.com/COVID19.
