The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) is opening the new year with a robust winter training schedule designed to help HVACR professionals build momentum for 2026.

From foundational technical courses to strategic business development, ACCA’s winter lineup gives contractors the flexibility to invest in their teams when and how it works best.

New this winter: ACCA is expanding its library of on-demand training courses that contractors can access anytime, anywhere. These courses cover technical fundamentals, business operations, and industry best practices — all available 24/7 to fit any schedule or time zone. For contractors managing packed calendars or distributed teams, on-demand training removes the barriers and puts professional development on your terms.

This season also brings back live virtual favorites. The popular Design Essentials series returns with ACCA’s manager of HVACR design education, Ed Janowiak, leading contractors through residential load calculations and system design principles that translate directly to better installations and fewer callbacks. The new Commercial Sales Training Series is back with fresh sessions that dig deeper into negotiating skills and closing strategies for contractors ready to grow their commercial business.

“Contractors have told us they need training that works around their schedule, not the other way around,” said Christine Gibson, ACCA’s vice president of education, product development, and digital strategy. “We’ve built this season’s lineup to give them options — in-person trainings, live virtual sessions, on-demand courses, and webinars that deliver value without forcing everyone into the same format.”

Beyond technical training, ACCA is hosting a series of webinars focused on advocacy and emerging industry challenges. These sessions keep contractors connected to the policy changes, regulatory updates, and business resources that directly impact their operations.

“Winter is when contractors position themselves for a successful year,” said Barton James, ACCA president and CEO. “We’re making sure they have the knowledge, tools, and connections to run stronger businesses.”
