AIM/R on Tap Offers Sales Rep Agreement Webinar with Dan Beederman

Join AIM/R'S legal counsel, Daniel E. Beederman, Feb. 18 at 11:00 a.m. CST / 12:00 p.m. EST, as he reviews the essential terms that should be included in every good sales representative agreement, as well as those terms that must be avoided.

Beederman will point out how the use of a word or a phrase in a contract can dramatically affect its meaning and unknowingly impact a rep's rights and obligations. For instance, how an 'exclusive' appointment can be nullified, or how an implied covenant not to compete can be created. Beederman also will discuss the impact that COVID-19 has had on contract issues.

  • Duration – Impact of the "sales cycle"
  • Commissions – Getting fully paid for your success
  • Performance – What are "best efforts," and how much reporting is too much?
