SWA Announces 2019 Dottie Ramsey LDC Scholarship Opportunity

SWA Announces 2019 Dottie Ramsey LDC Scholarship Opportunity

The Southern Wholesalers Association (SWA) has announced that the deadline to apply for the 2019 Dottie Ramsey LDC Scholarship is April 1, 2019.

The Dottie Ramsey LDC Scholarship was established by the Leadership Development Council (LDC) of the SWA in 2015 to honor Dottie Ramsey. The fund may provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors or full-time college students who are dependent children of SWA members and associate members. The scholarship may provide two $1,000 nonrenewable awards for graduating high school students or students enrolled full-time in a post-secondary institution who will pursue/are pursuing full-time undergraduate degrees from accredited post-secondary institutions, vocational/technical schools, community colleges, or colleges/universities in pursuit of a certificate, diploma or degree. Preference for the scholarships will be to select one graduating high school senior and one college student each year. Scholarships will be applied to the cost of undergraduate tuition, fees, room and board, and other college expenses.

The online application is available on The Winston-Salem Foundation’s website at www.wsfoundation.org/students. Questions regarding this scholarship or contributions may be directed to The Winston-Salem Foundation’s Student Aid Department at (336) 714-3445 or students@wsfoundation.org. A full list of criteria, as well as the application, selection and payment processes can be found here.
