Each year, Elkay takes time to acknowledge those partners whose contributions stand out for helping the company meet their strategic goals.
For 2016, Elkay has identified two plumbing rep organizations who made a significant difference:
In-Depth Marketing is responsible for the Nebraska and Iowa region for both Elkay and Halsey Taylor. Principals Joe and Jon Richard are supported by a fantastic inside sales team located in Ames, Iowa. Elkay celebrated their outstanding performance by taking the entire In-Depth Team out to dinner.
The In-Depth Team believes in strong customer relationships, excellent customer care and service beyond the PO. The company’s values echo Elkay own values; particularly: “Our strength is in our people” and “Our word is our bond.”
Cope-Wardell-Ammon, Elkay’s manufacturers reps from Philadelphia, started out as CW Cope Associates, which was founded in 1931 by Caleb Cope to represent plumbing industry manufacturers in the Philadelphia area. One of their first product lines was Elkay Stainless Steel Products.
When Elkay first hired CW Cope Associates to represent them, the company was only the third manufacturers reps to commit to their product line. In 2002, Cope-Wardell expanded and became known as Cope-Wardell-Ammon. Today 86 years later, Elkay is still proud to have the Cope-Wardell-Ammon team representing them, with 2016 being a record year.
Although Elkay is the company’s longest standing client, CWA now represents 10 premier manufacturers in the plumbing industry.
“We’ve attracted a knowledgeable team of professionals who have built strong relationships here in the Philly area,” said Mark Ammon, managing partner,
Cope-Wardell-Ammon. “We all look forward to many more successful years representing Elkay,”
“We are exceedingly grateful for having such high-performing manufacturers rep organizations pulling for Elkay,” said Mark Whittington, executive vice president, Elkay. “Rep organizations are as successful as the relationships they build in their communities. The performance of Cope-Wardell-Ammon and In-Depth Marketing in their respective regions is a testament to their culture, their values, and the outstanding people that they have attracted to their teams.”
