NIBCO INC. announces its continued support as title sponsor of the “Community Over Competition” Build, an initiative designed to foster collaboration and unity across the plumbing and HVAC industries.
Originally launched in 2025, the “Community Over Competition” Build was first showcased at AHR Expo. Organized by Impetus Media, the initiative brings together tradespeople, influencers and industry professionals to demonstrate the power of working together in an often-competitive landscape.
Following the success of the initial build, it is set to return in 2026 at AHR Expo. One of the key highlights of the event is the hands-on build experience that takes place during the first two days of the AHR Expo. Participants roll up their sleeves and work side by side to complete real-world builds.
As the title sponsor, NIBCO is committed to empowering the skilled trades community by supporting hands-on collaboration, elevating industry standards and encouraging the next generation of professionals.
“NIBCO is honored to continue our support of the Community Over Competition Build. We believe that when the industry comes together to support each other, everyone benefits,” said Joe Choflet, vice president, sales and marketing, NIBCO. “Our continued sponsorship reflects NIBCO’s deep commitment to advancing the industry, not just through products, but through people.”
The 2026 event will introduce new opportunities for learning, collaboration, and engagement, with a diverse mix of participants. AHR Expo attendees should plan to visit booth #C5335.
To date, sponsors and participants include General Electric, Grundfos, Knipex, Centrotherm, HVAC Tactical, Mike Flynn, Jeff Dems, Terence Chan, Mary-Anne Bowcott, Adam Gordon, Tyler Dynes, Omar Harris, and Colin Sadler.
