In partnership with the National Association of Oil & Energy Service Professionals (OESP), social media influencers and PROS REPS Ambassadors Travis Abaire (@t.a.p.plumbingandheating), George DeJesus (@georgetheplumber), Michael Flynn (@flynnstone1), and Kyle Hatch (@hvac_hatch) will conduct an educational boiler build at the 2025 Eastern Energy Expo in Atlantic City. 

On May 20 and 21, the four trades professionals will plan a boiler system from design and concept to construction directly on the trade show floor at EEE. Throughout the two-day event, EEE attendees and trade school students will be encouraged to watch and interact with Abaire, DeJesus, Flynn and Hatch to learn all of the build basics.

“I believe hands-on experiences like this build are some of the best ways to spark interest in the skilled trades,” DeJesus said. “They also help current trade school students learn and get a better idea of what lies ahead for them in the future. After more than 30 years working in plumbing and heating, it’s still so rewarding to start a project from scratch and see it through until the end result. I hope the students who stop by the build can see how much pride we all gain from our work.”

During the process, the quartet will discuss what goes where and why, recommended practices, real-world situations, pointers, and tips and tricks. The education will continue after the event, as their work will culminate in a hydronics board that will be donated to a local trade school for training purposes.
