Valencia Pipe Company (VPC Global) is expanding its operations to become a national supplier of rotomolded polyethylene septic and water tanks.
Valencia Pipe Company has a strong history as a leading manufacturer of plumbing and irrigation products. VPC began producing rotomolded septic and water tanks in Miami, OK in April 2024 to serve the Midwest, having only acquired the facility in September 2023. A second facility located near Reno, Nevada, has been brought online and is ready to serve the Western states, and a third facility is underway in the Northeast. VPC is now positioned to produce rotomolded tanks for the entire U.S. market.
VPC’s expansion comes just over a year after the sale of pipe manufacturing facilities in Washington and Arizona, to Aliaxis. VPC’s success and extensive experience in plastic manufacturing drives its continued strategic expansion.
"VPC has always believed that customers deserve a choice of products," said Andrew Dervin, CEO of VPC and a 40-year veteran of the industry. “We identified a market which could be better served by VPC and invested heavily in production capacity to offer a high-quality product at a competitive price. We’re very excited about this phase in our expansion”
VPC's success is attributed to customer service, meticulous product design and deep industry expertise.
“We sourced the latest manufacturing technologies in rotomolding production and brought in industry experts at every stage of the design process to guarantee quality," Dervin said. "Our products are certified to the highest standards with national certification bodies."
Septic and water tanks are regulated in the USA by state and local environmental and public health agencies. The resulting patchwork of regulations can make it difficult to bring new products to the U.S. market.
"VPC worked closely with state and local governments to ensure that our products were compliant with all applicable rules and regulations," said Christopher Butler, vice president of manufacturing and distribution. VPC's products are already featured on states' lists of approved products.
With a projected increase in U.S. home-building outside of urban centers, demand for VPC's new product line is expected to increase. The current product mix includes the most utilized tanks in the industry, including 500g to 1500g septic tanks, 600g to 1700g cisterns, 550g to 5000g water tanks. And VPC has currently expanded its offering of tanks to include multi-use tanks as well as chemical tanks. VPC's strategic placement of manufacturing facilities minimizes transportation costs, bringing a new option to the national market.
