HTP moves to larger facility

August 19, 2015
No Comments

HTP, a designer and manufacturer of advanced heating and hot water systems, has recently held an official grand opening to celebrate its move to a new larger facility in the New Bedford Business Park in New Bedford, Mass., to accommodate its continued growth.

The new location at 272 Duchaine Boulevard is 72,000 square feet, with three floors of new office space and large warehouse containing 14 dock doors. This new location accommodates staff growth as well as expanding distribution requirements for its high efficiency product line. The building will have a new training center where live fire testing and hands-on training will be conducted.

The new building is now home to HTP’s administration, purchasing, accounting, and engineering departments, along with the sales & marketing team, customer service and technical support. HTP’s warehouse, parts assembly and shipping departments have moved from Taunton, MA to reside in the new building as well.

"New Bedford is the right place to be. Our employees come from New Bedford. We have great employees, it's a great location. We can have future growth with our company," said CEO Dave Davis. HTP has already created new job opportunities along with adding new shifts at its manufacturing plants in East Freetown.

HTP, Inc held their official ribbon cutting ceremony with New Bedford Mayor Jon Mitchell on Wednesday, August 12.  “It is big news that a company of this scale … would move its headquarters to HTP,” Mayor Mitchell said.
