Midwest-based HVAC distributor Munch's Supply has announced that Steve Raimondi and Adam Slusher will lead operations in Illinois, Indiana and Michigan.
Munch's Supply is part of Marcone Group, a leading North American distributor of appliance, HVAC, plumbing, commercial kitchen and pool and spa parts.
As market president of Illinois/Indiana, Raimondi will oversee operations at nine locations throughout the two states, incorporating 400 employees.
Slusher is the new market president of Munch's Michigan, where he oversees operations at 11 locations throughout the state, which represents 94 employees. Munch's Michigan includes businesses operating under the names of Tommark and T.A. Gentry.
Both leaders report to Regional Business Unit President Mike Hendershott.
"Steve and Adam are individuals of high character who lead by example and are dedicated to both their teams and customers," Hendershott said. "Those are values that Munch's Supply was built on, making them ideal fits for continuing the company's success."
Raimondi previously worked as director of sales but has held a range of positions during his 20 years with Munch's. Having started with the company as a high school student, he learned the HVAC industry through multiple roles that include operations, sales and leadership.
"I've spent my entire career at Munch's Supply, learning the ins and outs of the industry from the very best," Raimondi said. "From new technology to the age-old value of customer service, there's an opportunity for Munch's to continue providing its customers with the very best. I'm excited for the possibilities ahead."
Slusher's history in the HVAC industry dates to 2007, when he graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington's Cameron School of Business. He went on to become the regional VRF and ductless leader, commercial sales leader and vice president of product management for Carrier Enterprise. He received the prestigious Carrier Executive Leadership Award and was a finalist for UNC-Wilmington's Men's Summit Award.
"I'm very excited for the opportunity to grow and develop Munch's presence in the Michigan market," Slusher said. "I have a deep passion for new technologies, along with experience with commercial, Ductless/VRF and other HVAC systems. I'm looking forward to exploring new opportunities within those segments. The goal is to rapidly grow our footprint in the market, while keeping in touch with Munch's longstanding culture and values. I am honored to be part of the team that will bring that to fruition."
