Hosted by John Moore Services in honor of National Plumber Day on April 25, Houston's first annual "Plumbing Olympics" took place at the John Moore Services building parking lot with five competing teams.
The competition was a timed event with judges from each company, focusing on various plumbing tasks that showcased the plumbers' strength, speed, agility and craftmanship. Plumbers shared their experiences, highlighting the importance of skill and precision in the trade.
The winning team was from Bradbury Brothers, taking the gold medal with pride in their trade and commitment to customer service. The event aimed to bring respect to the plumbing profession, emphasizing skill development and the role of plumbing in keeping Houston functioning.
