T&S promotes John Hughes to business analyst

John Hughes

T&S Brass and Bronze Works has promoted John Hughes to the position of business analyst. Hughes is a Certified Management Accountant with an MBA and extensive experience in ERP systems and databases. Prior to coming to T&S, he was a financial analyst with an international logistics company.

Hughes has a long relationship with T&S; during his college years, he worked in the company’s Quick Ship department, and his father spent 26 years working for T&S until his retirement in 2013. In his role as business analyst, Hughes will support the vice president of sales, regional sales managers, and customer service team through data analytics, project lead support, profitability analysis, product pricing and customer data/request support.

Ken Gallagher, vice president of global sales, says: “Moving our analysis efforts from one of many accounting tasks to a full time effort in the sales department allows us to focus on data in a much more intelligent manner. We’re excited about bringing John’s skill set to this arena and can already see the impact of having a better understanding of the micro data.”
