Specifically designed for severe service isolation in high pressure steam and boiler feedwater, the Fusion T-Series power ball valve delivers reliable tight shutoff of these high energy streams. The Fusion valves are engineered with a single controllable leak path (like an integral seat) while providing thermal match of the ball and seat (like an inserted seat) to perform in high temperatures and rapid thermal flux. The captured flange design in the two-piece version eliminates secondary leak mechanisms while also providing ease of field repair and flexibility of end connections. To further improve reliability and sealing performance, Ladish has developed a fully automated 360-degree seat-to-ball lapping process, preventing ridges that can cause high torque in automated valves and coating failures in competitive products.
